Today Feb 12th 2011 marks one year anniversary of winter games here in Vancouver. There are lots of activities planned for this year to celebrate the success of winter games. I hope everyone here in Vancouver gets a chance to go out and check out some of the free activities. Unfortunately it is pouring like crazy since this morning so it will definitely put a damp on people's plan but I hope as the day progresses, it clears out and people can enjoy the same spirit that we saw a year ago. India, Srilanka and Bangladesh is about to start biggest cricket fever in the world
16 nations will fight to become supreme power in the game of cricket from 19th feb 2011 till 2nd April 2011. There will be total of 42 games played during this times in different venues in different parts of India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. so far Australia has been most fortunate to grab 4 world cups. Cricket is considered a religion in India and may be in Pakistan and Sri lanka as well, but in India Cricket is not just about a game, it is about pride, batting, finance....These 2 months these 3 nations will spend in billions and will generate that type of revenue as well. India seems to be one of the strongest team in the world followed by RSA, England and other countries. I wish the Indian team "All the Very Best" for this world cup and have only one advise...Boys...this is your time to shine..do or die and have no mercy for the other team on the day of game. This is your chance to bring the Worldcup 2011 home in the hosting nation. Good Luck.
